The Tamilnadu Latin Bishops' Council in responding to the call of Inter Mirifica in 1979 formed and registered Commission for Social Communications Society under the Societies Registration Act. 27 of 1975. The motto of Society is to be of service to all without distinction of caste, creed, race or social status in the sphere of Social Communications and without any profit motive whatsoever.
